So I love AI and have since the very first season! This season has found me with just a few that I like.
Here is my prediction to take the top spot as the next American Idol.......
I love David Archuleta! He has my vote!
With love, laughter, and a bit of nuttiness we invite you to join in on our journey to forever!

Lovely Day
I'm wearing shorts and flip flops (and a 3/4 sleeved shirt too)! We have been playing outside, weeding (Dallin has been a big help), swinging, experimenting with water from the fountain, and building rivers in the sand! I can't get enough of it!!! I just want to shout YIPPEE!!! What a perfect day!!! Please tell me the cold, cold days are behind us!!!
Things that need to be done in the house:
-3 loads of laundry
-dishes need to be unloaded and the dirty ones loaded
-send out Carson's party invites
-finish 2 aprons, 1 purse, and some curtain tie backs for 2 customers
-read my scriptures
-etc....blah, blah, blah, blah
Wanna come over and help, and then I'll return the favor and come help you with your "to do" list? Any takers?
Did I mention that the sun is shining?

It's a sad day....
...when your little ones get sick!!! Carson has come down with the flu that has been going around. He looks so sad laying on the couch! All he wants to do is run, play, climb, talk, blow bubbles, ride his go-go, etc... But for now, he is laying on the couch which has been covered with towels, and watching Super Why!

Bubble Fun
So it's a rainy day, Dallin doesn't have school this week, and we are still in our pajamas (at 10:20am)! Gotta love vacation days!!!!
Well, Dallin and Carson love blowing bubbles. They have taken it to a new level. An art form if you will! So as they blow bubbles from the wand, they put a bit of the bubble solution in their mouths and then make bubbles from their mouths!!! It's pretty funny and don't worry the bubble mixture is non-toxic (what kind of mom do you think I am) :-)
Check out Dallin's bubble blowing abilities. The talents of these little ones amazes me!!!
Carson was cracking us up with his mouth full of bubbles!

Great Grandma Love
So on Saturday night, Ryan and I went out to dinner and enjoyed some time, just the two of us. We were lucky enough to have Ryan's grandma (Grandma Kanzler) come over and watch the boys. This is a woman who I love deeply and wish I could be more like. She has such an easy going personality and she makes you feel good whenever you are near her! The lady is 82 and still gets on the ground with the boys to help them build puzzles!!! She would much rather hold and love them all night instead of put them to bed (which doesn't bother me at all). The boys need that grandma love and who cares if they get to bed really late! The boys love and adore her! So hat's off to this amazing woman (I just hope she lives another 30 years - but she says no way she's sticking around that long :-)

It's so beautiful outside!!!
We are flirting with spring and I love it! Flip flops, bermuda shorts, a cute t-shirt - oh I can't wait! I am a warm weather fan and can't wait to enjoy playing outside, getting my hands dirty as I garden; play with the boys and watch them grin as they swing high; walks; etc.... I am so excited!!!!
(Dallin takes such great pictures!)
We had a lovely valentine's day (I started this post a few days ago and am just posting it as of 2/17/08). Ryan and I don't make a big deal about it. Over the years we have enjoyed staying home and making fabulous dinners and setting the table like we are at a fancy restaurant (Dallin especially loves this), turning the lights down low and enjoying being together (we use to have dinners by candlelight but Carson loves to climb on the table or from his chair he will spit at the flame. He tries really hard to blow it out but it just becomes a big mess instead)!
Dallin enjoyed his classroom party and even enjoyed opening all the valentine's from his classmates!

I wish I were....
...here!!! This is Puerto Morelos, my favorite town in Mexico!
So I'm almost better, another couple days and my throat should be clear! I am getting my energy back and can't wait to start getting to the gym! I need to do it and I am determined to get in shape!
Do you ever have those days where there is so much to do and you can't seem to get any of it done! I know I shouldn't stress about the house being clean or organized but seriously I feel so much better when it is tidy! I can think straight, breathe easy, and just over all feel better! So my goal is to take one cabinet a day and just get rid of stuff I don't use! Maybe the warmer weather is kick starting my urge to Spring Clean! Whatever it is, I hope to lighten the load in my cabinets and closets! Not to mention the projects that we start but never quiet finish. I hope to start knocking out some of those things.
On a side note: Carson cracks me up! He loves to play and has no fear! Seriously! I know it won't be long till that kid is climbing trees, fences, etc... He loves to dance, play with Dallin, swing, color, and play with his trains! He says things like "I did it," "No," "Mama," "Dal," "Daddy," "GoGo," - that means car, "ChoCho" for train, and many more.
Dallin is doing well at school. It is so neat to see him reading and writing so well. He excels at math, but still prefers the social aspect of school. He is excited to play t-ball this spring (Ryan will be the manager for Dallin's team). Dallin loves music, loves star wars, gi joe's, transformers, playing games, riding his scooter, and many more things. It is so fun watching him learn and grow. Just today we were walking home from school and had one of his friends with us (he was coming over for lunch) and his friend mentioned that when we die that is it. Dallin told his friend that when you die your spirit goes to heaven and when Jesus comes back to the earth we will be resurrected so that our body and spirit will be back together forever! I was so very impressed! My little missionary teaching the plan of salvation to a buddy! It was great!
