More Freedom

I am looking forward to having more freedom to post about my family! This blog had started, a few years ago, as a place for me to "journal" about what we've been up to. I am looking forward to getting back to that. It truly is a place for me to document the day to day things we've been up to (some exciting, some mundane, and some down right frustrating). So, feel free to read along to my nutty thoughts and the things that we've been up to. Oh and comments are always welcome, in fact, they are so very nice!

I just wanted to let you know about some exciting things happening in my blog world. Today I launched my new and improve "business" blog over at orangepeanut.com . Go check it out and if you are so inclined, show me some support by following that blog. 


This blog (kanzlerthoughts.blogspot.com) will become a place for me to "journal" about my family and will be made private in a few months (if you want to still have access to this blog send me an email and I will add you to my reader list).

I know I have disappeared from blog land for awhile. I have really enjoyed just being with my family!

I came online today to find that one of my new readers, Megan from Little Blue Prints, awarded me with a blog award! Besides loving her name, she has a rockin’ decorating style and a seriously clever crafting side. Thanks for the award Megan!!!

Now I must follow the rules that go along with this award by revealing 7 things about me that most people don't already know about me...

1. My husband and I met on a blind date 13 years ago, we’ve been married for almost 12 years.

2. I am left handed – maybe that explains a lot?

3. One of my nicknames growing up, besides Orange Peanut, was “little middle” because I am the littlest of my siblings and the middle child.

4. I have a BA in Child Development/Elementary Education, but if I had to do it over again I would have studied Interior Design.

5. I dislike being pregnant! I love the end result but truly could skip the 9 months of constant nausea – it’s lame! I am so glad that I only have 2 ½ months to go!

6. I get really nutty when my house is not picked up! I have improved upon this disease/condition over the years and will admit that on most days my house looks very lived in, but I do have a few days a month where I have to have it completely picked up or I will go insane!!!!!

7. I enjoy eating sweet things. I would eat sweet things for every meal – from candy, to yummy fruit, I have a major sweet tooth.

I really like this new feature...

Look to the right and see the thing that says "Sometimes you feel like a nut - an Orange Peanut that is"?? See my friends who are there?Well I don't have as many as the picture below.

I am still in the process of entering the blog sites that I want to follow but this is so cool.
When I log on and go to my dashboard, I can read down through and see who posted while I was away. If I want to leave them a comment I just click on the blog name and it takes me straight to their site.

I love reading what my friends are up to and this will be a nice way to keep up. I can read through and easily see who's posted and who hasn't today. No more stalking websites waiting on a post.
