Today was a windy, rainy, wonderfully stormy day full of power outages, flooding on the streets and fallen tree limbs.
On our way home from an appointment, Big D noticed that several of our neighbors had very large branches fall from their trees and he said "Mom, we should help them!"
So when we got home, he asked his dad if he could help move the branches. We all went to try and move some of the branches, enjoy a vivid rainbow and jump in a few puddles.
The branches were just too big, but Ryan called a friend who had called early to make sure we were okay. This friend has a new chain saw that he was excited to try out. So Michael came over and helped Peanut #1 and Ryan cut up and move those branches.
I am so pleased with Big D's desire to help others! What a good example he is to me!
