This year is the 50th anniversary of when Peanut #1's elementary school opened! There are many fun celebrations planned for the upcoming year to celebrate the 50's and the first one was today! The students and staff dressed up in their 50's outfits for Spirit Day.
Big D looked so cute with his hair slicked back!
My dance partner: Mr. A (6th grade teacher)
Kelsey and I had fun doing the dance. I hope our boys weren't too embarrassed to see their moms dancing with some of the teachers!
Mr. T, myself, and Mr. A
A few teachers and parents performed a dance to the song "Rock Around the Clock" at the Jog-A-Thon Rally! My friend Gina is heading up the Jog-A-Thon committee again and she asked if I would help choreograph a simple dance to that song and I was so grateful for the opportunity to let the creative juices flow and to give my dancing feet a chance to move! I think it would be fun to teach the kids how to swing dance!

cutoff in the blog)
It turned out so good and it was so fun to see the kids all dressed up in their 50's outfits!
Happy Birthday to Cowan, Megan
