So I am still recovering from the tonsilectomy I had on Jan 22nd. Today is the first day that I am not in a ton of pain, I still hurt but it is not killing me. I just wanted to leave a note saying thank you for the well wishes, I will be posting pictures from our trip to Mexico, and just let you know what has been happening around here. Let's just I am intending to make some pretty good changes (the last year has not been one that I am very proud of). So I will leave it at that for now. I need to lay down (I am so weak - I've lost 5 lbs so far).
I also wanted to write something about President Gordon B. Hinckley passing away yesterday! What an amazing man! He was the President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and he was also the Lord's prophet on the earth. I had just finished reading his biography on Saturday and then we found out last night that he had died. I learned so much about all that he did to build the kingdom of God here on the earth. I am just so grateful that so much of his life, his sermons, his humor is recorded for us to continue to use in our lives! I will miss him! Okay enough crying - it really makes my throat hurt.
